Doug Burns has been with Kraemer Burns since his graduation
from law school in 1973. Burns devotes substantial time to representing
clients in business related matters and has particular expertise
in employment law, software licensing, equipment-related financing
and contract drafting and negotiation. Burns also handles civil
litigation in a wide range of areas including commercial and
employment matters. He has represented both plaintiffs and defendants
in major personal injury and product liability litigation and
has obtained million-dollar recoveries by trial and settlement.
Burns is a cum laude graduate of Boston University and earned
his J.D. degree from the University of California's Hastings
College of Law, where he was named to the Law Review, and
Rutgers University School of Law. He also serves as a court-appointed
arbitrator.
